Tips for reducing food waste:

  1. Freeze food you aren't going to use right away - you can even freeze your sliced bread to make it last longer!

  2. Eat leftovers - 1-2 days after cooking food

  3. Store fruits and veggies right. Separate some fruits. Keep potatoes in a cool, dry spot.

  4. Plan meals and make a list before shopping. Use what you buy.

  5. Make compost from food scraps. It helps plants grow.

  6. Donate extra food to help others.

  7. Tell friends about reducing food waste. It helps everyone.
