2026 FLOWER CSA SUBSCRIPTIONS

Flower CSA sign-ups are open!

We are pleased to announce that DPUF is offering bouquet shares for up to 32 weeks of locally grown flowers! Expect lushly filled bouquets with the best of every season, from mid-April into November. We offer a huge variety of stunning blooms with excellent vase life that are sure to impress. CSA memberships provide up to 17% savings over retail pricing, or the equivalent of one free bouquet out of six for full season shares.

2026 Subscription options

How often?

  • Weekly

  • Biweekly (every two weeks)

  • Monthly (once per 4 weeks)

Bouquet size:

  • Small: 6-8 blooms; retail value ~$15

  • Medium: 12-15 blooms; retail value ~$25

  • Large 18-20 blooms; retail value ~$37.50

Deadlines:

  • Full season shares must be purchased by April 20, 2026. If any full season shares remain unsold, they will be available at the Newburgh Urban Farm Fair on April 25, 2026.

  • Main Season shares must be purchased by May 31, 2026

Pickup options:

  • Downing Park Urban Farm - Thursdays and Saturdays (207 Carpenter Ave., Newburgh)

  • Betty’s Snack Bar - Friday evenings through Mondays (97 Liberty St., Newburgh)

Purchasing options, fees, and requirements:

  • All sales are final. If you are unable to pick up one or more bouquets, you may transfer them to another recipient but you must let us know by noon on the Wednesday before the pickup window opens.

  • Any shares available after June 1 will be available at pro-rated pricing based on the number of bouquets in the subscription. If any are available, we will announce them on social media and these will not be available for online purchase.

  • There is a $20 fee for changing pickup day/location once the subscription has commenced. Any changes may take up to 5 business days to take effect.

  • There is a $20 fee for changing contact information, such as email address after the subscription has been purchased.

Here’s an example of what you can expect for local flowers each month, combined with an assortment of accent blooms and fillers:

  • April-May: It’s FINALLY bloom time. Your bouquets will be filled with tulips, ranunculus, snapdragons, and more.

  • June: Lupines, foxglove, sweetpeas, and rudbeckia come to mind!

  • July: As the weather starts to heat up, fragrant lilies, sunflowers, and celosia are ready to go!

  • August: Experience the amazing vase-life of the lisianthus and zinnias in addition to sunflowers and other warm-season flowers.

  • September: A smorgasbord of huge dahlias and fluffy marigolds join other late summer blooms.

  • October: The last of the summer blooms continue in our greenhouse even as cool nights beckon. Latest blooming dahlias give way to fall snapdragons and more.

  • November: Fall themed bouquets are filled with chrysanthemums, snapdragons, and a variety of grasses and more.

Blooms for Food is a bouquet subscription service that provides curated cut flower arrangements on a regular basis for a reasonable price. All proceeds from the sale of Blooms for Food will offset Downing Park Urban Farm’s costs to grow food for donation to Newburgh food pantries and church programs.
